When I realized how far the summit was from the city, I decided I’d hike over to the bus to get a little closer. However, even the bus stop was far away. When I got there, I was just a minute early so I didn’t know if the bus had passed already. After five or ten minutes, I got restless and decided it would be stupid to wait if I had maybe missed it, so I left the stop. Of course, the bus comes a minute later. I tried to run back and catch it to no avail.

Dispirited, I walked into a nice store with many old ladies milling about. That’s when I found it.

With the first gulp, I was reinvigorated. Then I had a field day with my new model. I didn’t make it hard for the French to judge me, but if they’re gonna judge me anyways, might as well make it fun for them.

I found a fountain partway up, but it wasn’t labeled for drinking or not, so I asked an old guy in French and successfully made it though the brief conversation (I think)!

On the way back, I met an American kid at the bus stop who studied astrophysics. He gave me the run down on how we end up colonizing mars. It made a little too much sense, but I’m still skeptical.

Anybody recognize those bikes? Reminds me of home. It’s honestly really nice. I miss blue bikes (it’s still the background shot on my phone 🤣 (I should probably change that)).

Also, is that a robotic golf cart? How does he control where it goes? Does it automatically follow the ball?
