Why get a pair of shoes wet when I can do flops and flats?
People said the road riding was good around here but I thought, nah, it can’t be as good as the MTB trails. But woah. It is absolutely gorgeous. After climbing just past St Peter I started the long decent into the valley with barely any cars on a little road winding in and out of the slope.
I decended into a thunderstorm and got absolutely dumped on, but the way these European storms go, it went from rain and lighting to rainbows and sun from far away very quickly. My phone died and I had to trust the bike route signs and my vague knowledge of which little towns were in the right direction.
Did I bring water? Nope. Just two tgtg little muffin brioche thingies in my pocket
