Sometimes gradient ascent exploration takes you on some closed mountain bike trails… Got attacked with a huge amount of stinging nettle on the way up.
I was inspecting the payment machine at the base of the tower when a woman comes up to me and tells me that I can get in for free by just going through the turnstile as it turns. At first I thought she was onto something, but I quickly realized this was simply a theory she had and had never tried… Eventually she resigned and said I’ll just have to pay and left. A strange burst of optimism.
On the way back, while wandering through a small dark trail in a park near the city, I had to pass a man stumbling down the stairs. Behind him, I pointed my phone light off the trail and saw two men staring at me. I might just be paranoid, but I feel like I stumbled into some place I wasn’t supposed to be.
